Home X’mas 2009

Finally, back to my sweet home for Christmas. For those who didn’t know, every year I’ll make a trip back home for Christmas. It has been a tradition, where Christmas dinner with family is a must.

I’ve seen dozens of Christmas trees but nothing compared to the Christmas tree that I have back home. It may not be the tallest tree, it may not be well decorated, but it has the mystical feeling that I can’t just explain. The feeling of being back home that is.

While waiting dinner to be served, took some macro shots on the ornaments of my home christmas tree with Olympus E520 body & Leica manual macro lens.

Dinner is serve at 1900 sharp, and I’m drooling looking staring at the food laid on the table.

It’s Christmas, so the table theme got to be red too.

Orchard Road X’mas 2009

This is the finale post of the Merlion Trip 2009. It’s all about pictures & more pictures taken on X’mas decorations of the famous street; Orchard Road.

Eventually I got tired and sat outside Ion Orchard while Dennis & Sophea continue to photoshoot around the places around Orchard Road. Started noticing that there were many DSLR users around particularly Canon & Nikon.

New trick learnt on shutter speed and the subject, oncoming traffic.

When it was all done and over, we adjourned to Xin Wang HK Cafe in Ion Orchard for dinner before heading back to our hotel. Tiring day but great satisfaction on the overall photoshooting.

Raffles Hotel

Raffles Hotel; founded in 1887 and was named after Sir Stamford Raffles. One of the finest hotel around Singapore and at the same class with The Fullerton Hotel Singapore.

Managed by Raffles International, the hotel is famous for its accommodation and top notch services.

Places that caught my interest while we head towards Raffles Hotel.
