Pulau Ketam

// February 26th, 2010 // Comments Off // Places

Pulau Ketam; Known as the crab island is located on the coast of Klang. It is accessible via ferry from the pier at Klang. Decided to pay a visit to the crab island since it was weekend while the Lunar New Year mood was dull.

The ferry ticket into Pulau Ketam costs MYR 7.00 per head and the cost was a one way ticket. Pretty costly for a 45 minutes boat ride to an island which is nearby the Klang Valley.

I was amazed at the shape of the ‘so called ferry’ as the shape of it was like a submarine. Too bad, it couldn’t go under the sea else I may have the chance to catch a glimpse on Little Mermaid.

Upon reaching the island, it was not what I have expected.

  1. Not a clean island, the residents throw rubbish everywhere even right outside their house!
  2. Nothing in particular caught my attention, it was a typical fishing village just like the rest.

Photoshooting of the island landscape lasted barely 10 minutes and I moved on to portrait shot with Dennis dude & sweet Kah Wai as my model.

For one that don’t appreciate with what you have, pay a visit to the island and I’m sure that upon returning to the city, you’ll truly appreciate the things around you.

Ampang Look Out Point

// February 8th, 2010 // 2 Comments » // Places

A routine Saturday, roaming around KL before heading home for a rest. Had photoshooting at Ampang Look Out Point in the evening with some friends.

Somehow or rather, my mood was dull and my mind wasn’t there. I’m floating and drifting to another point of interest. Thoughts have been filling up my mind and I can only wait.

Nevertheless it was a fabulous gathering with my friends. Dining and photoshooting is always nice. Took some shots on the landscape of KL at Look Out Point from sunset to nightfall.

And that’s all I have for Look Out Point @ Ampang. If you’re thinking of going there, be early. Limited parking lots, and massive jam.

Petronas Twin Towers

// February 2nd, 2010 // Comments Off // Places

Petronas Twin Towers: Completed in the year 1998, was once the tallest tower in the world before the existence of Tapei 101 in Taiwan and the recently launched Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Interesting fact that I never knew until Dennis told me.  Each tower was built by Japanese & Korean. So which tower was built by the Japanese? The tower where Kinokuniya is located.

Before Muzika & Petrosains, we did some photoshooting on Petronas Twin Towers and its surrounding. Guess this post came late as I was busy with my turning point in life.

Starting off with photoshoot of the Twin Towers made in Malaysia.

Not forgetting the surrounding.
