2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon 2010

The 2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon 2010 was held at Precint 2, Putrajaya from 18th – 21st March 2010. It was my first visit to the Hot Air Balloon fiesta though it was the second year running.

Overall impression of the fiesta? it was slightly above average. Car park lots were limited due to an unforeseen outstanding number of crowd, and the participating balloon from various countries stands at 13. I would have expected the place to be filled with tons of hot air balloon but it wasn’t in this case. And may I also suggest that the flawless astounding government building around the area should open up their precious basement car park lots for the public rather than cars parking everywhere on the side of the road curb.

Upon reaching the place of the event, Dennis & myself had to queue up close to an hour before we were granted access to the balloons. First 200 photographers will get up close & personal to the Para Motor Showcase & Balloon Fun Fly.

Some of the hot air balloon from various countries include:

Thailand & Japan

Belgium

USA

Belgium

France

Malaysia

It wasn’t easy capturing shots of setting up the hot air balloon as each balloon was packed with photographers.

Then it was flying time where the hot air balloon takes off one after another with sweet smile greeted by the exhibitor.

And this isn’t a hot air balloon, where did it come from?

Tanjung Harapan

Tanjung Harapan; Located in Klang North Port is a place where families and lovers sit down to enjoy the breeze and remarkable scenery of the landscape.

Upon departure from Pulau Ketam, we decided to drop by this specific location for sunset photoshooting before heading back to KL for our dinner.

Not an ideal place for us as we were in a bunch. Therefore, we left quietly without disturbing the lovers there where they needed to express their ‘Love’.
